Our Home: The Flint-Gresham Ballpark in Flint, Texas

The Flint-Gresham Community has a rich heritage related to the game of baseball.  For many years the Ballpark in Flint hosted numerous youth/adult leagues and tournaments.  The East Texas Knights want to bring this facility back to the community and provide a high caliber of select baseball to the area.  Our kids and families are members of this community and we seek to help develop the Ballpark and related facilities into a hub of activity and involvement.

We will need to help to achieve all we wish to achieve.  If you, or someone you know, can help to provide equipment and resources to help us restore these facilities, please contact us.

Directions to our home:

The Flint Gresham Ballpark is an eighth of a mile north on HWY 2493 from the 4 way stop in Flint, Texas.

From Tyler, TX down to Flint you will take HWY 69 to FM 346 West (right turn).  Turn right at the 4 way stop.

Less than a ¼ of a mile, look to your right and you will see the Flint Gresham Fire Station.

Turn right onto the road that enters in front of the Fire Station and proceed to the back of the property.

You will be able to see the Ballpark just behind the old Community Center building in front of you.  Have your group park prior to the old Community Center building to ensure no foul balls coming their way.

Our Ballpark is brand new so please forgive the construction mess, and the lack of signage.  We have a great new concession stand that will be open with all proceeds going to the Community Center and they will have grilled Hot Dogs, Nachos, etc. for your group to enjoy if you would like.  Last week they offered a $5 grilled Hot Dog, Chips, and Drink Special.  We also do not have any bleachers installed, but have a brand new concrete paver area for any chairs that your group brings, etc.  We do ask that the kids not chew gum or leave candy/seeds in the new dugouts and tobacco products are forbidden.

We are seeking business and individual Sponsors willing to help us to develop facilities to enhance the community.  There is an extensive master plan that hopes to turn these facilities into a place to bring the kids, have a Car Show, go for a jog, or take in some high quality select youth baseball.  The Flint-Gresham Community is growing quickly and we don't want to lose the sense of community that has blessed this area for decades.  Our teams are made up of kids from this community and we want to re-build these facilities into gathering places for the area.  The first phase will be the Ballpark to create an additional source of revenue.  The second phase will be to address the various facilities to provide a 365 day a year area for all to enjoy.

All donations made to the Flint - Gresham Community Improvement Association, Inc. (501 (c) 3) are tax deductible.
